The NIPUN LAKSHYA program is a part of the National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy (NIPUN). The Ministry of Education launched NIPUN to help students in grades up to 3 build a strong foundation in learning. The program is implemented in all Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) schools.
